Miami Bimmer Club Cars & Coffee Meetup
South Florida is home to lots of different groups of car enthusiasts. From Audi’s to classic Mini’s if you look hard enough you’ll find a group you can connect with, no matter how unique your niche is. As a BMW owner I decided to check out the Miami Bimmer Club Cars & Coffee meetup this past Sunday morning. I’ve been following them for a while now on Facebook but I never had the chance to go to a meet. I decided today that would change. I woke early, warmed up the ///M, and I quickly headed out.
On my drive up I choose to take the scenic route on Old Cutler through the beautiful tree canopies that over hang the road. This beautiful piece of road eventually becomes South Bayshore drive and leads you into the entrance of Key Biscayne. Driving windows down, and enjoying the sound of my exhaust, I noticed black looming clouds as I headed into the Miami Marine Stadium entrance. A short-lived worry as the clouds quickly went away revealing a beautiful sunny morning.
As I finished parking the car, friendly faces, fresh doughnuts, and hot coffee quickly greeted me. What started as a small group of enthusiasts grew to a surprising big bunch, as club members from Tampa joined the Miami chapter.
My neighboring ///M3 was a nicely put together ride proudly owned by @properstyleprince (on Instagram). With a quick hello and a handshake, we quickly started talking about his ride and what he had done to it.
This beauty was equipped with an ESS supercharger kit, AC Schnitzer type 2 three-piece wheels, and proper stance making this ///M3 stand out in the crowd.
There was a little something for everyone at the MBC Cars & Coffee meet. Whether your into the classics or the latest and greatest BMW's, the meet up had what you were looking for. It was hustling and bustling with excited owners and fellow enthusiasts.
The following cars are two rides that also stood out from the bunch for me. One car stood out for its originality and the other for straight up cleanliness. One thing I love seeing at shows and meets is when enthusiasts put their personal touch into their builds making them 1of 1’s.
The morning meet ended for me with I feel is an awesome deed, a fellow enthusiast lending a helping hand out to another enthusiast in need. I know first hand what it feels like to get stuck at a meet or show and it really sucks. But seeing things like this is what makes me love our culture and this is what it’s all about, great cars and good people.
